Following a wide-ranging outreach phase, a thorough and inclusive gender-mainstreamed consultation process, involving all stakeholders, has provided us with a series of inputs, which, in the context of an ongoing benchmarking exercise, empowering grass-roots activists and respecting ownership considerations, has come to the conclusion that going forward, in order to promote the desirable synergies, a pro-active stance should be adopted, coopting innovative strategic approaches to address the various issues raised, and tasking the appropriate facilitators in each case to enable a value-added outcome that may then be resourced by the lead constituents.
